Golden Ticket to Heaven

 Once upon a moon so blue,

The lord sent you to a city, new

To remind you of a familiar soul

To humble you before you're old.

There you met a fragile heart

Just looking for a new life start

And there you had a chance to be

An example for humanity

You could've been a helping hand

Instead, you offered words of sand

You could've had a ticket ride

To heaven shining in the sky.

Instead your head was looking high

In pride, never lowered your eyes

To see the world was at your feet

that golden ticket - it could be sweet

The morning comes

The humble azan

Fills the room

Of empty temples

Not too loud

And not too sweet

Humble in sound

To cure the air

Two souls sit

And meet for prayer

On time for

Our Creator

A night's worth of sins

Forgotten

In One

Small Moment

Dries the tears of

Midnight's sorrows
